The Fast and Furious franchise has been keeping petrol heads at the cinema for over 10 years now. In recent years the films have been getting into more complex and I reckon, better, story lines. Having secured a free ticket to The Rock FM's pre-screening of the latest installment, Fast 6 I grabbed a fellow petrol head and headed to the cinema with some pretty high expectations after seeing the trailer (see below). The storyline continues on after the post credits scene from Fast 5 in which Dwayne Johnson's character is discussing a new car based 'team' of criminals who have Letti Ortez, who's last appearance in the series was in the 4th film, supposedly coming back from the dead. I won't give much away about the storyline of Fast 6 but I've got to say, the franchise has come a long way since the first 3 movies. Gone are the neon lights, manufacturer stickers and huge stereos.
